ELISA kit for gluten / prolamins (gliadins (wheat), secalin (barley), hordein (rye)) determination in food samples and environment.
The assay is based on the R5 Monoclonal Antibody, which is specific for proteins from wheat, rye and barley. The Limit of Detection of the assay is 3.4 ppm (mg/kg), lower than the limits established by the Codex Alimentarius.
The AOAC Performance Tested Method status of the assay demonstrates that after a rigorous validation study, all the results obtained were satisfactory according with the expected.
The results confirm the consistency of the kit to be used as a reliable tool within an allergen risk management program and a validated assay for ISO 17025 accredited laboratories. The INgezim Gluten R5 kit provides fast and reliable quantitative results for gluten detection.
Kit based on monoclonal antibody R5.
Method defined in the Codex Alimentarius required by the Association Of European Coeliac Companies, to obtain the license and the possibility of indicating the symbol "logo crossed grain".
The INgezim Gluten R5 test method has been evaluated and approved by the AOAC Research Institute Performance Tested MethodsSM Program for use with gluten free bread, oat flour and stainless steel surfaces, and has been assigned PTM Certification No. 052005
