Research of adulteration by cow or goat milk
LIBIOS specialized in 2011 on the research for adulteration of milk.
First, adulteration by cow milk because this product is less expensive than goat or ewe milk, produced in bigger quantities and addition of milk is regulated at the European level.
LIBIOS proposes also tools to determinate the addition of goat milk in cow or sheep milk.
Discover our assay kits for detection of milk adulteration
To detect adulteration by cow milk (in sheep milk/cheese or goat milk), LIBIOS offers you two types of technologies, according to your needs and your equipment.
- Radial Immuno-Diffusion (IDR) : CV TESTS II
Based on a simple immunological reaction leading to the formation of an antigen-antibody complex, Radial Immunodiffusion (IDR) reacts the suspect cow milk protein as well as the immunoserum present in the agar in a very specific way.
These tests insure you robust and reliable results according to an easy technique to operate in only a few hours....And require little equipment (1 magnifying glass + 1 microsyringe + 1 steam room).
The detection of adulteration at the 1% threshold guarantees you the choice of a sensitive technique in the context of analyses for control and safety of food.
- Immuno-enzymatic ELISA kit : QUALISPEED BOV TEST
Our immuno-enzymatic assay kit allows to detect the presence of cow milk in goats/ewes by qualitative detection according to an Antigen/ Antibody reaction.
This detection is done by visual reading of a colorimetric reaction.
Equipment: 1 micro-pipette + 1 squeeze bottle
To detect adulteration by goat milk (in cow milk/cheese or sheep milk), LIBIOS offers you its Radial Immuno-Diffusion (IDR) method.
- Radial Immuno-Diffusion (IDR) : BC TESTS II
Based on a simple immunological reaction leading to the formation of an antigen-antibody complex, Radial Immunodiffusion (IDR) reacts the suspect goat milk protein as well as the immunoserum present in the agar in a very specific way: method of reference, reliable results in few hours (1% threshold), little equipment.
