CV TEST II®
Reference : 250101
Rapid and quantitative detection kit by radial immuno-diffusion of cow milk in ewe/goat milk and cheese
Countries eligible for delivery
All countries
Principle:
The sample (milk or cheese) to analyze is deposited in wells sunk in a coat of agar containing a specific antiserum of the cow milk.
During the incubation (24 hours at +37°C or 3 hours in +45°C) the constituents of the cow's milk possibly present in the sample are spread then recognized by the antiserum. A precipitate is then formed.
The diameter of this one is directly proportional in the quantity of present cow's milk in the tested sample.
CV Test II and BC Tests II and QUALISPEED BOV reagents are produced on site by our laboratory.
Expiry date CV and BC tests 3 months after production of the lot.
Expiry date QUALISPEED BOV: on average 12-15 months after production of the lot.
Delivery times: between 2 to 3 weeks from receipt of order. Contact us to know the status of stocks before ordering.

- Results in 3 hours for a fast test in the milk, in 24 hours for a conventional test in the milk and the cheese.
- Very cheap cost of test
- Little equipment (1 magnifying glass, 1 microsyringe or 1 micropipette, 1 steam room)
- Easy to use
- Robust tests (possible variations of manipulation)
- Sensitive technique: detection of an adulteration at the limit of 1 %
The method applies to raw or heated goat’s or ewe’s milk (up to +75°C for less than 30 seconds), fresh or preserved by freezing or adding potassium bichromate or mercuric chloride, as well as to fresh cheeses.
